Looks cool.

You might want to add a ground plane, set the camera attributes background color property to a grey shade. Also, if you render with mental ray then turn on production quality and final gather. You could also add a directional light with ray trace shadows turned on.

This will give a nicer render and will help to add depth to the model.

Thanks man, and yeah still need to do all of the above you mentioned
just wanted opinions on the modeling side of things

too hard to see well as its so dark mate. Add a little light, a few wireframe shots too so we can see it better
