This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

does anyone know of a way that you can alter the state of files outside of maya ( i.e any normal file on my hard disk )
I simply want to be able to make files read only or not, and hopefully be able to query this.
is this possible through mel ?
