ive been trying some character modeling with no real results..

So ive decided to model inanimate objects again...

seems everyone models a phone so i htought id start one also

Hey, thats looking really good so far! The buttons look like they just come out of the faceplate.. but instead i think you should bevel it in around the edges of the buttons.. to give it a "seperate" feel.. if you know what i mean. It is coming along really good though user added image. Keep it up user added image.

yeah I agree with my, the buttons do look as though they are not a seperate entity from the rest of the phone. You could get a hold of one of these phones and see how it's constructed and then model the individual parts that might make it a bit easier.

Textures will obviously help it out majorly so I will check back with the thread soon. user added image

yeah I think that that is looking much better. You get some really subtle shadowing in between the buttons and the top face.

Can you make the line between the screen and the body look sharper? I think you will have problems once you have textured it with it looking too smooth. Looks good so far though
