Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I like it. It's got a very neat style. How are you going to do the eyes? Small, or large? I like the smooth proxy mode too. Or is this CPS? I've actually started using the smooth proxy mode a lot lately, and I find it really does help you when you're creating your model. Only thing I've found is I like to see the wireframes all the time, and when you get into a lot of detail, there are sooooooo many wireframes everywhere.

Good stuff man, keep it up!

wchamlet: Thx for your reply. This is CPS. It has a few options to help you sort between the loads of wires on complex models.

I dont know about the eyes yet. What do you think ?

I dunno, it's up to you. Play with it and see what you like. There really isn't a wrong or right way to model cartoony heads, so have some fun with it. Post updates of it, I'd like to see it progress! user added image
