I haven't started yet. been playing 1.9 America's Army (came out last night and it's so sweet!)

tonight I'm off to see T3, so I'll probably start tomorrow.

I thought I'd make a variation to that instant maya rigid bodies tutorial.
something like a ball falling down through obstacles. that shouldn't be too hard to texture I think.

good luck man!

Um, Killerbee, this round has nuthing to do with the last round, you moust model something completely different, and use completely new work (everything for this round must me be made during this round). Sorry for the apparent confusion.

vectorman's right

Round 2:

Theme - Realism Challenge
- Make a scene, as realistic as you can make it! It can be anything from a bouncy ball to a car if you wanted.. remember though, if
you model a realistic bouncy ball and then your opponent models a almost as realistic car.. hes most likely going to get the votes. It is mostly based on the realism factor though.

Type - All (polys, subd's, nurbs)

Textures - Yes

Time - 7 days

ehm, to be honest... nope

just spent another afternoon in the yard, getting a tan, reading maya savvy, occasionally going inside for a drink.

Killerbee, what are you doing man?

looks like u're winninguser added image

actually I did start on something, the advanced tutorial in the savvy book. first you model a boy (they give you rough pointers as to what technique to use), then you animate him, texturing, lighting...

I won't enter that in the contest though, it's still a tutorial.

Hah, sorry killerbee.. i will watch my wording in other sections because i could see why that could confuse someone. I did mean a entirely different scene.. doesnt have to be big or fancy either. I love your choice, pendulims or whatever they are called are quite cool, model some small screws on that, get some realistic textures, a couple labels (made in ______) and your laughin! Well its not that easy but i bet you can pull it off. For you d24e, lets see some work! Now i dont know about you guys but its only the 14th here.. so you still have quite a bit of time to work on this.
