Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Can Expert Advice on Materials for Maya Cloth

Hi,

I'm a maya greenhorn. Would be grateful if any experts could kindly suggest some good sites or books on maya cloth setup.

Don't know of any off-hand, but I would recommend reading the F1 files. Look at what cloth can do, see how they achieve different effects, then try to imitate that effect on your own. If you run into a problem, you can always post your question on the forum here at SM and will probably receice a speedy reply.

That's my advice at least.
