Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Question: Keyframing Question Inside

Hey Guys and Gals,

Is there an easier way of moving keyframes around on the animation bar? I mean I try to click and drag but nothing..I did however press shift and (I think) middle mouse click and it selected (turned red)

I am just looking for an easier way of manipulating keyframes besides cut, copy and paste.

Could someone help me out here??

Thank you WAY in advance

Hi SuperDave71,

I would also suggest the Dopesheet, the dopesheet has the option to move all the selected objects keyframed attributes in one go... user added image

In the time slider select a key you want to move and just before it put you curser... then hit shift and left click then slide over to the right. The time line will turn red as you slide over. In the red areas you have little arrows, the outside arrows are for scaling and the inside arrows are for moving.

You can move or scale whole areas or one at a time.. i use this more than the dope sheet.

Hope that helps

Kurt
