This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Dragonhawk..it was maya software renderer on high quality/production Q , everything on default except i used the Quadratic b-spline filter instead of the default triangle.
the lighting was all default with one directional light set at 1.7.
Just a rush render to give an update really.
saved as a targa.

Hey KB you're so cool ! Thanks for sharing your techniques with us and I know it has already made my a better modeler and enabled me to be able to think about stuff to model I would have had no clue as to how to start ...
Now stop browsing and get on with the texturing..lol
just kidding ..thx again.

cockpit Detail

I am very near the end of the tutorial now ..no update today as I am so close to finishing the model I might as well finish it and post a render.
However one of the things KB kindly does in the tutorial is leave the control modeling details to us ...hehe
I have found a couple of pics of the cockpit for the front and rear pilot and thought I would post them incase they might be of use for others ...here they are ...Goodluck Modelers user added image
