Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Coinbox in progress.. I need to work on the glass still. The jackpot text is a displacement. I uv mapped and textured the front panel as well.

Thanks for the kind words user added image

Here is a shot of the uvs with texture for the coinbox as requested. It is still in progress. The glass part of the coinbox I mapped separately so I can use another file for the thin black threads that run through it. I may have to redo some uv's because I need to connect the object beneath this one to this.

peace,

Modeled the rest of the coinbox. The circle W is a displacement map also. Worked on textures and geometry on the front panel a bit also. Changed the glass.

Thanx utpal user added image

I worked for a few hours on the glass.. and ended up modeling the safety wire instead of using a texture.

Coinbox with coins.

It is still very hard to get the glass exactly the way I want.. this could take some time.. the nickel is a displacement.. and then instanced about 60 times ;p

yeah, i think for the glass to look right; the most difficult thing to simulate could be it's thickness.
