Dae, dude, your texturing is spot on! I love your character render as well. Maybe a bit more contrast on the face?

Great job!

Wow!! Tight textures! Now, do you have a teblet or are you using a mouse to paint these? And, u might have alredy mentioned this, and I'm sorry if you have, but what program are you using to paint the textures in?

thx

Thanks Matt,
I am using a tablet and Photoshop to do the textures, but for my next model I might try Painter as it came with the tablet.

I think the handkerchief and the shirt/tie area needs more contrast to lift it off the chest.

definately looking good user added image

Really nice job! user added image Glad the book is working out for you! One thing I might suggest is a little more color in the skin tones... a little red on the nose, ears, cheeks, etc. Subtle, of course, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Hey, Dae. Really neat! I was planning on doing a similar render setup using a textured base for my model so its cool to see what you've done. I really like the contrast between the neatly groomed character and the grungy gutter. Nice touch and great job!

how about part of his mask or cape hanging out of the edge of the suitcase so it ties in with the superhero element? Or his mask on the floor next to the gutter?

great model/pose though and the base is really cool user added image

Thanks Dave, it gets abit boring after a while having your model float in mid air.
I was thinking exactly the same thing t1ck135 (it shows you great minds do think alike)

Thanks
