This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Yeah, for rigging I usually have the arms down at a 45 degree angle or so as opposed to straight out.
Unless you're doing Lara Croft or something who's doing a lot of climbing and stuff with her arms up over her head, there's not a lot of point to rigging with the arms up like that.
