This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Ha ha - great work vizion - I love the new direction and the pose of the model. Well done!
It might be fun to really push this to the extreme - have some beer cans and cigarette butts littering the room, maybe even some crayon drawings or graffiti on the wall.
Man, I was really hoping to see some pirates in this one. I don't know what to think about the new direction. It really kills the innocents for the kid. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what your final composition will look like.
Hehe, thank you arran, took your advice and added a few more beercans. Well this will be the last update before my final entry, spent this extra time figuring a decent lighting setup and barely got something that looks adequate.
THX, I tried the pirate route but it just wasn't working well, it was asking for alot of understanding and some reaching on the viewer's part. My biggest problem with it was how to arrange the furniture in the room without obscuring the boy too much. Almost gave me a headache twisting stuff around for nearly a week before I decided to scrap it. However I'm content with my second decision, and hopefully kids still hold their innocence even when they try and act all grown up (even if they try drinking and smoking ).
Excellent! I really love your final entry vizion - this is looking very cool!
The only thing that I am not sure about, is how he is holding the beer can. I just think it needs to 'sit' a little better in his hand - the last thing the kid wants is to drop his beer! :p Also, maybe the tip of the cigarette could have a bit of a glow added.
