I'm trying to create a dusty/rocky landscape, very similar to the one in the Blur Short film, Rockfish (www.Blur.com
). I'm trying to find out what the easiest way to create ground that is not completely flat dirt, so I'd like to add hundreds of stones of various sizes/shapes etc onto the terrain without have to put them there indiviually. Is there a "scatter along surface" tool I could use to do that?
Also, while I'm writing this, I'd also like to know if there is a "noise modifier" like Studio MAX has, so that I can fractally (and not fractally) distort geometry?
