This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

rotating the pivot coordinates !!!

how do i set the pivot to origin X and y 90 degrees .... have a look at the picture

Why? Just rotate it as needed in the attribute editor or with the rotate tool.

modify > freeze transformations will reset the pivot if that's what you mean.
