Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Saving Shaders

I am finally getting into creating shaders in hypershade, but don't like making them over and over again when I need them. I created the ghost shader from the Alias|Wavefront sight which consists of a Sampler Node, a Lambert material, and a Ramp texture and would like to save it to my shader library or some other place for easy access. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance.

In the hypershade, select the material and File > Export Shader and you can save the shader. In another file you can File > Import the shader.
