ReadTake command

I'm trying to read a MOV file with a readTake command. I get a warning: "Warning: Skipping frames with negative time: ". What does this mean? My mov file should be just some coordinates for joints (one frame in each row). So, how is maya ignoring something with negative time since there is no time defined in a mov file?
