Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Displacement map bug?

I have this problem, you see both of these images are using the same displacement map and UV layout and... well... just about everything. But, obviously, something is clearly wrong. Anyone able to offer some insight as to how this could be happening?

Got the displacement map via Zbrush 4. I'm fairly certain that it was because I merged the mesh to rotate everything together in the first image and I hadn't done it in the second. It's not a big issue as I have now actually worked around it by not merging things together. I guess merging then seperating the meshes made Maya hate on me.
