Duplicating object a set number of times with specific measurement between them

Hey

Subject: Duplicating object a set number of times with specific measurement between them

Like the subject says, Trying to create rails on a park fence, I know I've done something like this before just can't remembered the tool

Any advise, Help will be greatly appreciated

What I do is "Shift D" (Duplicate with transform) the first one to the right place and then every time I press "Shift D" again it duplicates it the same number of units over. Keep doing it until your done. I think under the options for that you can set it to duplicate more than one time.

Failing that there are option under Duplicate Special where you can set the translate.
