Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Any way to render smooth mesh wireframe?

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone would know of a way to render a smooth mesh wireframe? Not actually hitting smooth then render with vector, but kind of like hitting number 3 for smooth mesh preview, and having wireframe on shaded on.
Thanks,
Mike

Your best bet for achieving that is to take a UV snapshot into Photoshop and adjust it to the colours you need then use it as a material on your smoothed model for the render.Of course this does mean that your Geo has to have the UV's layed out first.
