Plug-ins

Hey everyone, Im new in Maya and i just learn it for about a week ...
i downloaded Toon shader plug in, that i thought will be usefull in creating an effect like the game XIII on PS2. but the thing is i cant run it even though i pasted it on the plug in folder...
can some one help me on this and may be some other basic skills in Maya 6

Have you loaded the plugin in Maya? I mean have you gone to the Plugin Manager?

Go to Window>Settings/Preferences>Plugin Manager. Here find the plugin, and load it, You can also set it to auto-load so that it will be ready for use when Maya starts again. That should help you out.
