Folding Bat Wings? with pic

Ive rigged my dragon. I'm almost done. The only problem I'm having is that I Bound (smooth)my wings when they were spread out, when i close the wings tight the middlemost verts get overlapped instead of smooth. Any ideas?

You may have to paint the weights a bit better but also you could try some blend shape correctors and have them driven by the joints.
