Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Fur shadows

Hi all,
I have a problem with my fur shadows, I enable light linking to the fur to get the self-shadows, and I have enable the light to cast shadows, but I can't seem to get the fur shadows to show up on the floor in the render.
I am I missing a setting?
>I am using maya 6<

Thanks.

ooh didnt see this thread, it worked fine for me. Check all your flags on light and object, try different shadowing modes. I dont think fur objects cast shadow by default, check the flag on that.
