Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Thanks guys.

Fredrikkson, yes I am cursed with 'cute', but hell if you can't beat it, make it a cartoon lol. The only non cartoon thing I have made recently was for the last tournament. I attach a pic in my defence (not that it'll work, I think I have a entirely cartoon mind in my leisure hours), really ought to get round to texturing it properly.

But enough! Back to tiny dinosaurs and giving my caveman a rather fetching snow leopard skin thing to wear. Cute calls me! And everyone has to have a style, right? (sob).

Work continues with early bicycle. Doesn't have the things holding it all together yet, and I added a painted bump map to the wheels to make them look carved since the shot was taken, but you get the idea.

Not sure I 100% like the rock texture. Looks more like a chunk of space rock with micrometeor impacts then normal earth rock user added image Love the wood and bamboo textures though user added image

Thanks Pure, yes I am detailing the umbrella with some pegs and things. It has a painted texture which took me a while but you can't see it, sob. Stitching is a good idea though I shall revisit it.

Thanks Vampus, he probably got it when those spacemen you see in cave paintings came to earth, ahem. I'll look at some other rock.
