fun easter egg in Maya 5 for OS X

While digging around in the Maya scripts folder (not the user one, but the big scary one that contains all of the scripts that define how Maya function), I discovered a fun little script from the Maya for OS X team.

In Maya, enter the following command in the Script Editor:

Manitoba;

Play around with the buttons and sliders and see what shows up in the Script Editor's history pane.

Nothing revolutionary. Just funny. user added image

This is OSX-only, since, well, it shows the credits for the OSX port team. user added image

Here a couple of lo-res screenies for those of you who haven't seen the light. :p

When you click on buttons or move any sliders in the window, different comments show up in the history of the script editor.

I think that Easter Eggs are indigenous to Macs only they have been around for years - I know quite a few. There is a cool one in Quark, an alien comes on screan and zapps what ever you have asked to delete.

Just goes to show us Mac users have more of a sense of humour that the miserable Winders gang user added image

pretty sure that "sense of humor" thing applies more to the Windows "developers" then the users. user added image
