Fantasy female

I was just looking at some video tutorials
from many websites
im already modeling human heads and things like that...
but it doenst really look like I want
so I tought maybe this tutorial was perfect for me... Am I wrong...
Id like to know if you start with a sphere or any other primitive forms
and maybe a screenshot from a different angle than under the nose to know how she's looking I mean... her face
and with that turorial will I be able to model my own head
I mean is that a tutorial that really follow the reference or not

if you have any pictures of what you done with that tutorial I'd like to see them ^^

This tut is abit more advanced.. I dont show every little detail as far as pulling and pushing geometry around so you will have to do and think a bit on your own.. in the section you will see some changes in the look as i have spent time adjusting the shape inbetween recored sections.

I do start off with nurbs to get basic shapes and forms

I was wondering what part of this tutorial starts the beginning of laying out the UV's? I can't figure out how to texture the female model I have made and would like to use it as a guide.
