Space Scene

Hey everyone!

I am trying to make a space scene with a slow zoom into a planet through clouds and atmosphere and the sorts..

What is the best way to go about this? are there any tutorials around for me to look at?
Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
amit

There are many techniques.

You could create simple plane objects with cloud maps that you pass though.

You could try using a cloud PaintFX brush to make some cloud objects to fly through.

You could try making some particle clouds using volume emitters.

I listed these in order from what I think are the easiest to the hardest.

Heya,

Thanks for the options! I played around with the cloud maps on a plane and then added where the blank spots some PaintFX stuff! lol!

Thanks for the help.

I will post the image soon so you could tell me what you think!
Thanks again!
