Hey steve just curious, is there a major big different between the 7.0 and 8.0 F1 maya help as in for tutorials etc. are there lots more?

Not really, I went from version 6 to 8.5 and it's pretty much the same, but there are more tutorials but just for the enew features (ncloth, python etc) You can get to see most of it if you look in the "Whats new section", I think that the 8.5 documsntation is online from Autodesk so you can have a look at that to see whats new.
