I bought a learning DVD to up my maya skills and I must say that it worked

It looks pretty good, i would use depth of field to add some realism to the scene.
I'm not a big fan of final gather(and/or global illumination) either cause it washes out the contrast of the picture, but that is easily solved in photoshop.
