Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

texturing/mental ray help

ok soo i have a glass i modeled and im trying to use the dielectric mental ray material to make the glass the glass realistic but its not looking right.. and i dont know why.. any ideas how to use that material and make the glass look really nice?

You can use the mia_material_x and use the glass preset.
