working in a duplex mode ?

Hello friends !

Is there anywhere in Maya the option, to work in a duplex mode ?

Let me describe what I mean:
If I´m modelling, I usually use the half side of the object.

And during this modelling (I don´t want to duplicate after finishing) I want to have a mirror object for the other side.

Hmm, I know that is possible in Maya, but I have no clue where are the settings and what I have to do for ?

thx for help,
bernhard

use instances or (depends on wich maya version u got) duplicated it and connect the object1.mesh (or similar) to object2.mesh ...

instances you can create (maya 4.5) by just checking "instanced" in the duplicate options box
