Modeling a hanging ceiling cloth, tied to bars. How?

Here is a picture of what I'm trying to model: https://z3.ifrm.com/28044/46/0/p481638/help.jpg

It's the tannish/beige, looks like a burlap sack, thing hanging from the black bars. It's tied around the bars and hangs down in between them.

I've done nCloth Dynamics before, but I'm unsure how to go about modeling this.

Also, would I be using a transparency map to get the "burlap sack" effect? i.e., the open weave that allows sunlight through.

model the basic shape of the cloth on the bars then make the cloth an nmesh object then set up some constraints to constrain the cloth to the bars that should do it, with a lot of tweaking.

As for the material use translucency with a translucency map in the shape of the weave pattern, thats probably the easiest way to get it done.

Thanks. After looking up some tutorials on constraints (I'm still a beginner), I'm thinking it will be easier to make a few curves, lengthways between the bars, and loft between them. Does that sound viable? I think I'll have to model the knots around the bars separately.
