star wars

i was watching star wars today and i was thinking what 3d software do they use to make the models?

I know they use Maya ( don't know how much ), but they mainly use other custom scripts ( that they write them selves ) for their CG modeling.

They use their own customized version of Maya, as well as their own in-house developed tools.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
