Can I do something with dynamics, then "freeze" it and use it as a model?

I want to use soft body dynamics and a turbulence field to make a crazy terrain, and then just use one frame of that for my model. How would I do that? thanks

freeze the simulation at a certain point where you like it and then delete the history on the object. It should then stay in the position you froze it in.
