Was messing around in maya in a kind of "I wonder what it would look like if?" sort of way and made this pic:

Might put the idea to good use. What do you think?

How did you convert the isoparms into tube-like shapes? Or am I seeing this wrong?

I selected the isoparms and beveled them. I then deleated the the original nurb and left the beveled edges.

Nothing special just seems go give a cool effect.
