Default Modeling a sneaker

Does anyone have a tutorial on modeling a sneaker (or something like it) using nurbs?? I'd like to understand how to make nurbs lay on top of each other like patches. (not 3d cafe)

Tehir is a "shoe tutorial" out their for a sneaker showing the dif levels of the anatomy, it is in rhino but you should be able to dup it.
