Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

multiple UV sets?

Does anyone know if you can have multiple UV layouts for a single object? For example, in Max you any apply a cubic map to an object, and set it as channel 1, and then a cyclindrical map to the same ofject and set that as channel 2. Then you can set your color texture to use the UVs from channel 1, and your bump to use the UVs from channel 2.

Does any one know how to do this in Maya, and can you outline it for me?

Thanks.
