Ok!
Here comes a first preview of the shot...the idea is that one of the He engines are gonna explode... still more smoke and a highlight pass needed... and ofcourse the bullets from the spitfire!
Anyhow, let me know what you think and i've attached the uv map for the spitfire below!

Save target as:
Dogfight FMV

Hi,

I really like the camera move on that. Also, the mist is very nice. I can see the ocean texture repeat tho.

I don't see the uv map attached. Is there something else to click on?

Hey,

Is that catwalk animation on your site mocap? If not, that's really nice keyframing.

yes truly a very nice job on the texturing, i love the detail you have put into it. Was the texture originally from reference textures or was it made from scratch, id love to hear about your methods as im soon to be texturing my spitfire v and need all the help i can get.

cheers

Hi all!
Thanx for the comments!
foo1971: I draw the textures from scratch had a couple of reference pictures in a book to look at!
The hople thing is pretty straight forward, no secrets. I try to keep the modell very simple in the beginning for UV mapping... Then when I'm satisfied I make a Smooth Proxy and delete the proxy...Finetune the UV and start painting the colormap!
