very interesting model mumbojumbo! I love every thing except the claws, they seem small for a huge and bulky dino like that, maybe u ought to make them a little more fat and/or big etc.... only the claws tho.

phoenix: i looked at this before when i looked at rhino they have realy smaller feet so i sort of made the feet smallish i still think they ok

Hey there. I still think this has much potenchal. Wandering. You might like the results you get using the lether procedural texture that comes with maya to make a nice scale pattern in the bump or displacment. I vote the clows are cool as they are.
Looking good there. maybe around the horns you could darken it up a little on the skin, or lighten it. Also maybe you could use a cloud filter in PS. thin maybe blur it. that could help with some variation in skin color.
this is one very different looking fella. Looks like a hippo or soemthing but a little more grunty! More power to ya buddy and I will be looking out for more of your work
