Im definitely in the noob Cat here, never done anything organic.
So at the moment im toying with the idea of a .................

lol ok i will enter as normal, but i havnt ever modeled anything organic but the prize for normal is very good!
so i give it a shot.

ok i have decided on my pet boxer dog as my project.
heres a pic of him(the seal looked quite easy as in not much to model)this should be a mighty challenge with all that hanging skin.user added image

Man I love boxers, my sister had a couple of them that she would show. They are a great looking dog. Can't wait to see your progress on this one user added image

Bms yeah im not much of a dog lover but boxers i really love too!
he's 18months old n called chester.
heres a pic of a wire and me getting the basic head shape right.

Hey Magic ..nice choice and you are going to love getting involed with hair or fur ...hehe

For a basic rough out of the shape you could use far less geometry, you might find starting so dense will give you more work in the future when trying to get edge loops right ect.

hey man user added image yeah its under control im using Connect poly shape..well im watching a tutorial on how it works. so basically im working on a lower poly version.
Heres some more shape got the jowels or however u spel it modeled a bit more and some more shape to the snout.

why not use smooth proxy instead of connect poly shape? it works good.

heres the nose might not keep this though, also i cut the eye holes need to be larger though.

nice choice, you should be able to get some good character in this model user added image

looks like you need to start working on the edgeloops around the eyes next
