Thanks T1ck135, it is all in maya still.. I think I will add the bumps on his horns and wrinkles above his eyes in Z-brush.

Looks really neat!

From your mesh it seems you decided to add the wrinkle detail in Maya and not in Zbrush. Are you gonna use Zbrush on this guy?

The edges near the tip of the ear look different. What have you got going on there?

Looks like you're there with the head modelling (apart from any snazzy stuff done with zbrush). Its looking very realistic to the photo.

The UV looks like a hippo - two animals out of one - cool user added image

Thanks for the nice comments Dave :attn:

The edges that you see near the tip of the ear are because the front side and backside of the ear are very close together at the tip. So you are seeing some of the back edges. If I zoom in they are not actually poking through, when I zoom out it kind of flickers in maya. I should prolly adjust the ear and make it a tad bit wider at the tip.

I will add a displacement in Z-Brush..and prolly do the texture map in Z-brush as well.

Yeah nice texturing start. I like the feeling of smooth skin, mostly at nostril entry or inner ears.

Hopin' you'll set up these famous eyebrows long pilosity which make them so peacefull & kind.

Cool cool cool to me ... user added image
