Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Wow, I have to say that your models are mindblowing! That last batch of renders really shows off the details nicely, and compliments just how much work you've put into your models. Great work!

hey thanks guys im glad you like the details I put in but im nowhere near texturing the mech yet. Iv decided to do more details to it and make it more relistic. IM going to make a inside cocpit/engine/screws/bolts/set driven keys all over it with little moving objects. redo ALL of the hoses movable eye / transforming parts.... the works but currently im a little busy with some projects for my college assignments... as soon as I have some free time I wil begin working on it.. as for texturing ....lets just say im not looking forward to it.

Wow. Those models are great!
Funny thing is I'm planning on doing the mech tutorial from this site and then modelling a Space Marine Dreadnought on my own. I've only started using Maya and it's my first 3D program, but your mech has really given me something to aim for!
Just out of interest, which class are you taking?

im taking a 3d organic studio class this quarter at a university named Shawnee State. and thanks im glad my Mech has inspired you a little. as for Ermarmenlee im sry that link did not work for me.
