you might wanna repost this in the WIP section since it is in fact a work-in-progress. also i think we should see a wireframe of it, cause that might help explain why there's streaks going along the blade

the topography of your mesh looks very... umm... unique. how did you create it?

I get this problem with everything I use extrude face for :s. Please help me solve this, it's REALLY anoying.

so you basically started with a regular cube and kept extruding til you got that shape? that must have taken forever!

i think instead i would have drawn the basic outline of the entire axe head (without the sharp blade part) using the ep curve tool, rebuilt the curve with more CVs, then performed a planar. from there i would have either duplicated the original curve, offset it by like 1, and performed a loft, or converted to polys and worked with it from there...

That's what I asked in the forum, but no one replied. But What do I do when I want to extrude face?

I can work better with extrude face, but it doesn't work, it gives weird results:s, please help me. The extrusion isn't done nicely.

was the the 'cube to curve' one? i didn't quite understand what you were trying to get at...

Yes that was the one, but you can type it here, just tell me, I would like to work with something as the extrude face, but since that ain't going to work because of something, I better use something else.
Unless you can tell me how I can get this damn thing to work. God, I am furious =p.
