Leo Shaders

Im trying to get some better results than this image concerning specular, raytracing and bump. Hopefully, someone will know how to get the result I want and lend a hand.

I really want to show his skin surface has a slimy attribute. I have played with specular and raytracing/reflections. Is this something that mentalray could accomplish better?

I also really would like to get a better bump on his skin aswell. Something similar to an amphibian scale pattern but with a faint depth. I have a fractal or a noise bump on it now, but it is not what I am ultimatley looking for.

Any ideas?, Anyone?
Thanks.

I would remove the shinny texture on him. Makes him look like michael jackson (plastic). Also try make the bump map with bigger dents than the small little bumps.
