edge loops?

hello guys isnt Edge loops standard with maya 8.5?
or do i need to add the plug in?

is it edge loops im after ...lol been so long i cant remember.
basically its the split poly tool but not have to place each vertex individually

I think its the 'insert edge loop 'tool your after, under edit mesh i believe.

make sure your in the polygon menu set

LOL hehehyea wasnt even in the menu set cheers m8, havnt used maya for a long long time so just getting used to the interface again user added image
