Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Anyone using C++ API?

Is there anyone here who is working in C++ with the Maya API?

I've just started looking into it (over the weekend), and would be interested to know how many other people on here use it...

I got the Complete Maya Programming book but I have only scratched the surface of the API programming. MEL has been enough for me so far...

hehe - fair enough....

I bought Complete Maya Programming a couple of days ago - there's some very good explanations in there - I'm working through the API section at the moment...

It's just annoying as there are various little bits that I can't find anything about in the official docs.... I'm trying to find somewhere that I can post questions - there doesn't seem to be anyone in the IRC channels that I frequent who uses it....

It seems like all the people who do Maya API dev are already very good programmers, and working at studios... There doesn't seem to be anything around for people just getting into using the API...
