Can you help with a PC build?

Hi there!
I have been working on this PC build for some time and I think I am about ready to buy the parts. I would just love some feedback because I am sure there are many of you that know a lot more than me about computers. I am wondering how this computer will do with rendering in Maya, and if you have any other notes or suggestions please let me know!
Besides maya i will use this Computer for HD (1080p) streaming of Starcraft 2.
Thanks in advance

For the price this is not a bad PC but a couple of things leap out for me, the first being the external HD and the second being the speed of the internal HD.
personally i would make the SSD an internal and make it your OS drive and the second 2TB drive should be 7200 rpm min for good performance.

I would also consider adding more than 8GB of Ram,this would be plenty for most tasks but for rendering and sculpting apps like Zbrush you really need more.

One final thing is that personally i would go with a workstation GPU if you can afford it , you always add it at a later date.

Thanks for the feedback!

@jsprogg I will be using the ssd as an internal hd and have my OS and programs on it. The reason why my hdd is so slow is because I am going to have all my programs on the ssd and only use it for storage, will it make a big difference with the speed?

I think i will upgrade my RAM,

GPU wise what do you think about the 7850 or the 560ti 448?
I dont think i can afford the quadro 2000, we will see

thanks again!
