Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Need help with some Maya. V Mac options!

Hey all,

I'm sure this has been asked billions of times.
I'm a Mac user, on Maya and at school I'm on a P.C.

I know at school, to do with the middle mouse button, you can hold that do to sort of move the screen to make things much much easier. Molding wise.

On my Mac, I can't seem to do that, I click the MMB and it zooms in and out. Now, I've looked all over the net, forums and all.
I've try'd looking into my system prefs and all there is IS: 'devices: mouse school wheel, mouse tracking'.
not much!
Is it my mouse? I have a oldish logitech mouse, 4 bottom.

I'm stumped! and I got homework to do =(
Please any help, you guys are awesome too!

thanks very much,
Sean

Try going into your Maya preferences, and under Interface, make sure Three button is selected.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

Also try going under the System preferences in the mac OS under keyboard and mouse. and make sure that 1) the mouse is detected correctly and 2 that the middle mouse is setup for "Middle Mouse"
