Based on an arch angel

user added image

Had a bit of fun making an angel, based on diablos concept. I did the fiery wings aswell with a emitter and 3d container, but i couldn't render it out at a base quality of 200. To slow computer user added image

Gonna add some more detail to the helm soon and make the feathers less sharp

Thought so user added image

I'm not too sure about that halo... I know he's an Archangel and all, but he's like... A badass, fightey Archangel, the halo just doesn't fit IMO user added image

Cheers mate! Really fun to hear user added image

I'm just using the mia_photographic lense on a camera with some mib blackbodys on my lights + camera color. Then it's just the mia material with standard displacement and 2 bump maps for each of the parts. I have been on vacation, but i'm gonna finnish him up today and do a quick animation and then start on a new project user added image
