Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

texturing

ok im starting to get the modeling side of things under control but when i finish models im not sure how to texture them.

I've played a round with hypershade etc but they always seem to look..well...crap

any links for some tutorials or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
