maya 4 x file exporter?

hi all user added image

i'm seeking for a good maya 4 x file exporter, who export textures, uv coords etc...

same i've said in other messages, i usually work in 3dsmax and i'm learning maya, so i'm a newbie in maya :p

to export textures from maya you can go to the hypershade, select the texture you want, then file>export

when i do it and use the mesh viewer (included in the dx9 sdk) i don't view any texture user added image i view the model but not any texture!

sorry? mesh viewer? maybe you have to apply to texture to the model? i dunno cos im not sure which mesh viewer ur referring to

in the directx 9 sdk, there is a soft named mesh viewer who can edit *.x files.

but are u sure we are talking about the same thing? user added image
i'm looking for a maya 4 *.x files exporter to edit in a direct3d soft.

like the exporter included in the package.
but this cannot export textures user added image

i'm seeking for an exporter able to save textures and uv coords!

now, i have to create my own exporter, also my own format, if i cannot use .x files in my apps :p but i lose a lot of time, and hate that! if you see a good exporter for *.x files, tell me user added image
